Directions to the Trailhead

Take the N4 from Sligo Town for 2.4km. At junction S1, exit onto the N59. Continue for 40km. Turn right onto the R298 and drive for 5km. Turn left onto the R297 and continue for 2km to arrive in Enniscrone. Take a right turn on either Pier Road or Cliff Road, both lead to Enniscrone Pier and the beginning of the trail

The Route
Start from Enniscrone Pier. Head north along the trail. At the end of the coastal path turn right and walk along the road to return to the Pier or return along the coastal path to enjoy the scenery from the other direction with fantastic views of Enniscrone beach and Nephin mountain in Co Mayo.
This walk has spectacular scenery and panoramic views of Killala Bay. Will seating along the walk this giving the opportunity to relax and enjoy the scenery, nature and sounds of the wild Atlantic.
